The Springfield Armory Prodigy AOS Vault is a demo or display firearm previously used as a trade-show sample or representative model. The Prodigy AOS 5″ takes the proven 1911 foundation and modernizes it with a double-stack magazine and performance-driven features suited for today’s carry and competition demands. Built around a double-stack polymer grip module mounted to a forged steel frame, it offers a 17+1 capacity while maintaining the classic balance and feel of a 1911.

Chambered in 9mm and equipped with a 5″ match-grade bull barrel, the Prodigy delivers exceptional accuracy and smooth recoil control in a compact, balanced design. For rapid, confident target acquisition, the Prodigy AOS features a fiber optic front sight paired with a black serrated rear sight, along with an optic-ready slide that accommodates popular red-dot systems. The textured polymer grip ensures a secure, ergonomic hold suitable for various hand sizes, while recontoured controls and a low-profile beavertail enhance comfort and concealability. Measuring approximately 8.5 inches overall, the Prodigy AOS achieves the ideal balance of portability and performance.
