Description

The Springfield Armory 1911 Emissary AOS Vault is a demo/display trade-show sample built to showcase the platform. Chambered in 45ACP with a 4.25″ barrel, the Emissary pairs refined styling with practical defensive features to deliver a pistol that performs as well as it looks. The 4.25″ AOS model wears a Cerakote® finish and several custom 1911-style upgrades, creating a serious option for defensive use. Its “Tri-Top” cut slide with 40 LPI serrations rides over a heavy-profile bull barrel to boost accuracy and reduce muzzle flip. A forged slide and frame incorporate a Picatinny rail for accessories without sacrificing the pistol’s clean lines.

Springfield’s Agency Optics System (AOS) provides flexibility for popular footprints, RMR, Shield, DeltaPoint Pro, Docter, and each AOS plate includes an integral rear sight to ensure correct optic height and a visible co-witness in nearly all setups, improving aiming consistency and defensive capability. For fast, reliable sighting in any light, the Emissary is fitted with a tritium/luminescent front sight paired to a Tactical Rack U-Dot rear, speeding target acquisition in low light or bright conditions. Blending elegant details with defensive practicality, the Emissary AOS Vault is a durable, accurate, and easily concealable 1911 that brings custom-grade refinement to a modern defensive caliber.
