Description

The S&W M&P45 Shield M2.0 chambered in 45ACP with manual thumb safety is a generational improvement over the already great original M&P Shield. This slim polymer framed, single stack, striker fired pistol has a 3.3” stainless steel barrel, an overall length of 6.1” and weighs just 18.3 oz empty making it perfect for concealed carry. Smith & Wesson began by improving ergonomics with a more aggressive grip texture for better control even under adverse conditions and front serrations for easier slide manipulation. Internally the M&P®9 Shield 2.0™ features an improved trigger with a slightly reduced pull from around 7lbs down to 6lbs for greater accuracy without reducing safety. The trigger is smooth, with a light take-up and crisp break.

Trigger re-set is short, tactile and audible. The Shield uses bright three dot sights for fast target acquisition and uses a patented system to break the firearm down for cleaning without pulling the trigger.
